Christmas time is here...

New Years resolution #4: update the blog at least once a week!

Since its been a bit, I'll do a quick recap:

• October - Had a good birthday. Decided to pull out all the stops for next year and turn 30 in Las Vegas with family and friends. On a sad note, Kat's long time friend and companion Samantha (her black cat) disappeared and we're fairly certain she's not coming back.
• November - Had a very relaxing Thanksgiving in Iowa this year. Took Riley out with us, and he got to experience the country (and a looonng car ride). Kat's mom has rescured 4 abandoned kittens on the farm and has nursed them to good health. So we brought one of them home with us. His name is Eli, and I will put pictures up in the gallery very soon.
• December - Kat has been working from home for 6 months now, and we're still making it happen. We're all decorated up for Christmas (and Kat's birthday), and looking forward to seeing my brother, his girlfriend Catherine, cousins Rob and Rich, and my parents. I really do enjoy the holidays.
